Everyone’s Tongue

We want to celebrate local produce in all its
genuine wonder. Knobbly potatoes, twisty carrots
and freshly-tugged beetroot from a farm down the
road. Catch of the day, every day. Meat, game and
poultry where you can almost discern the
unrushed, natural diets of the lambs, pigs, rabbits,
chickens, ducks and pheasants we select. Surely
that’s not too much toask, or expect, is it?

We also think that kids deserve tasty food made
with the best ingredients. Flavour. Quality.
Authenticity. Respect. We believe wholeheartedly
in being kind throughout the food chain,
engaging with nature, cherishing the rich and
varied bounty that each seasonbrings, and
building good, honest relationships with our
suppliers, neighbours, guests, everyone. Blend
three ingredients – people, produce and place –
and make them sing and shine.

That’s magic, and it helps explain why we’re
now well in with all our local producers and
have a fantastic head chef who we poached
(pun intended). Chow for now.
