Raising the bar
Warming, comfortable and with a hint of quirk, our bar is the kind of place where long evenings begin. Where they end is never certain.
We could talk about wine and beer until the cows come home which, as you know, is about dark o’clock around here.
We want to celebrate local produce in all its natural glory:
Knobbly potatoes and twisty carrots from a farm down the road; cream that’s travelled less distance to get here than a cow wanders in an afternoon; meat that tastes real.
There’s something so satisfying about matching the right moment to the right drink, or complementing a great meal with the perfect liquid accompaniment. What’s better than meeting people, telling tales and making memories over food and a glass of something? Not much.
