He’s won not only a BAFTA, but an Emmy as well, and is the creator, author and illustrator of the best-selling Bunny Suicides cartoon books. Expect hilarious micro-stories and laughs aplenty from a man that has been involved some of the greatest comedies EVER!

James Domestic

Domestic has been wowing crowds across the country with his quirky, hilarious, and often poignant observations on the minutiae of everyday life. He’s performed on BBC Radio and BBC Breakfast TV.

With several books to his name, he’s supported poetry legends such as Luke Wright, Attila the Stockbroker and Mark Grist, and has received plaudits from poets and musicians alike. His work has been compared to John Cooper Clarke, Ivor Cutler, Spike Milligan, Bejamin Zephaniah, and Ian Dury.

Words that bite, belch, and bleed in their brilliance” (Mark Grist, multi-award-winning poet, battle-rapper, and star of Channel 4’s ‘Mr Drew’s School for Boys’)

James' poetry sharply focuses in on the raw ridiculous truth of the world that is right in front of us all.” (Scott Coe, former Stamford Poet Laureate)

Argh poetry! Tweed-garbed toffs waffling about moorhens? Nah! Funny and fierce words fighting in a sack!”  (The Shend, musician, actor, absurdist, and Cravat)

Tim Barlow

Opening the evening is the excellent Tim Barlow. Tim is a stalwart of the Hastings poetry scene, as both a performer and a host. His work is full of wit and character and covers topics diverse as reincarnation, cottages falling into the sea, men falling in love with cars, flies enjoying barbeques, and pubs.

He’s toured with poetry heavyweight and TV writer extraordinaire, Henry Normal (The Royale Family, Mrs Merton Show etc.) and is bound to amuse and delight.
